Thoughts and Stuff
Little Lily (Old poem from my childhood)
Little Lily,
She lived no more.
Her tiny body,
Fell on the floor.
There was no hope,
There was no lesson,
She was just on the floor of a delicatessen.
People saw,
And they just left
After witnessing
her dark death
Lily had her final breath
Iambic Pentameter Sonnet for School
Have you heard of a big cat with three eyes?
She loves to put bugs in her hot chocolate
If you stare enough, you’ll find a surprise
Under her paw is a golden droplet
But soon that droplet will become a black
Soon all her dreams will be thrown in the trash
The tears she despised will be coming back
All dreams will be gone, almost in a flash
She sat on the cold pavement, thinking fast
“How long has this been happening to me?”
“Will I survive this? How much time has passed?”
She looked for the droplet. Where could it be?
Upon searching long, she felt something wet
She found out that she made her own droplet
